So, I'm curious: My folks live not far from you in the Riedland area, roughly. I just spent new year's weekend there, tromping for a bit around the final resting places of long- (and some recently-) departed ancestors and relatives in and around La Center. Many of the inhabitants of that region are descended from Scots who migrated from the Carolinas in the late 1700s and early 1800s. But I've never gotten the feeling that they all appreciate that much. How's the kilt going over there, anyway?
