Depends on what you would like to see, city or country, highlands or lowlands, or perhaps a mixture of all of them!
Certainly you should consider Dumfries if you are a Burns fan or wish to be guaranteed kilted company at Ferintosh!
Bit I agree, a new thread would be a great way of exploring the possible options.
