Man, ordinarily I need logistical support to head that far out into the boonies . . . but I'll see what I can do. Sevenish, you say? Hmmmm.

Alright! Kid Cossack and Mr. Mayhem. My guess is we got better'n half a dozen from here. I know there are also others coming from here and there. We can also vote on the venue for Chase's Homecoming, too.

Well I managed to be there a lil after 7, met up with Jack Daw and Zardoz and a couple of others whose names I regretfully forget (dang old age, or was it the Guiness?) in any case all fine gentlemen and had a good time getting to know them! Cant wait for the Tilted Kilt!...I will be kilted for that one for sure(fingers crossed of course, lol). Not sure how late everyone stayed I regretfully had "duties" to attend to at home...and she thanks you all for lettin me leave early...lol... catch up with you all soon at the TK and I'll bring a camera this time!!! I'll also drag along Soren who is here today with my sister and thier family, nothing but football and BBQ and drinking (in moderation of course...lol) all day today!

It was great to meet you, Mr. M! We all left around midnight. Yes, we are on for the Tilted Kilt on Feb 7th for Chase's Homecoming. Not that The Angel and the Ox wasn't nice, but it was way too noisy, the service was too slow, and the food menu too limited for our doings. I'll post an update in the other thread.

Well... the service was a little slow... but otherwise quite pleasant ![Wink](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
I think once The Angel and the Ox gets up to full speed it's gonna be a real nice place, it takes a new bar a few weeks to find it's equilibrium sometimes.
I was surprised at how loud the place was, I don't think that particular bunch of folks were any louder than any other average bar full of Katy gentry, maybe the acoustics are off or something ?
