Happy knitting!
Hey Thunder,
I have some in-laws that are in the business of breaking legs. Of course there is a fee....

Rune,
Knit a scarf if you want to lower your BP. No counting, no minding the pattern, just relaxing knitting.

OK, I'll give it a try.
If I give up about half my Klondike-playing time I'll have time, and
if I can remember that I write with my right hand
[and the other hand is the left], I may be able to learn the skills, and
if I can find a way to stop my wife from laughing,
or at least from laughing audibly . . .
and from calling people in to watch and snicker . . .
.

LOL,
I forget sometimes just how good of a wife I have. She is very supportive of me learning how to knit. It may surprise some of my friends, but if the nitpicking gets too bad, just tell them that when the next world war rolls around and they all have holes in their socks, you'll be feeling great in ones you made yourself and you fell sorry that their walmart is now a crater. ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Although I will say I was the one laughing in the craft store today when I got excited to see a sale on merino wool. I've never been terribly excited with the craft stores around here.... Basically no leatherworking stuff at all, so I just let my wife drag me along.... Until now lol!

Can I still join? (Although, I've gone over to the "dark side" and made my first pair of toasty, yummy, merino wool socks in denim marl this past December. Take a look.)
