What? Why you pompous, pith helmeted pompion! Unwashed, UNWASHED? Let's call up Wiktionary, shall we...

    First off, let's define SOKS.
    Southern Ontario Kilt Society:

    PronunciationIPA: /səˈsaɪ.ə.ti/, SAMPA: /s@"saI.@.ti/
    Audio (US)help, file

EtymologyFrom Old French societe (French: société).

Noun Wikipedia has an article on:

    Society

    society (plural societies)

1.A long-standing group of people sharing cultural aspects such as language, dress, norms of behavior and artistic forms.
This society has been known for centuries for its colorful clothing and tight-knit family structure.
2.A group of people who meet from time to time to engage in a common interest.
It was then that they decided to found a society of didgeridoo-playing unicyclists.
3.The sum total of all voluntary interrelations between individuals.
4.The people of one’s country or community taken as a whole.
It’s not for society to decide whether I can play the didgeridoo in my own home.
He thinks that the fact that this child grew up to be a murderer is the fault of society.

    5.high society.
Smith was first introduced into society at the Duchess of Grand Fenwick's annual rose garden party.
6.(law) A number of people joined by mutual consent to deliberate, determine and act a common goal.

Sounds like a well-heeled organization that i would want to belong to.

    Now let take a look at;
    Nor-Cal Rabble

    Rhymes: -æbəl

    Noun
    Singular-rabble
    Plural-rabbles

I'm heading out the door in a few minutes to get over to the Hall for our preparations for this evening.

This evening the Nor Cal Rabble shall most certainly be lifting a glass to our friends the SOKS

Slight change to the guest list, but no alteration to the count. Please remove Lisa (tough to get out at that time... and the whole 'vegetarian' thing kinda excludes haggis!)
Please add my pal Nate in her place. I just have to hook him up with a kilt (quite a bit smaller than my manly frame... more like Grant)!
Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
