Steve,
When a mill gets such a large order for a special batch of tartan fabric for a kilt forum in their special kilt forum tartan it seems to me that they should be especially careful with the order.
I feel very badly for everyone that has been waiting so patiently for this to arrive and you Steve for all your time and effort to make this order happen.
The F-H.C.A.G. and I are in for something like 10 yards of this material and we have a lot of plans for it. That said I would rather wait for them to deliver what we ordered and get what we wanted, than to settle for less.
Also you certainly shouldn't have to pay duties and shipping twice for their mistake.
Cheers
Jamie

Not your fault, bro. Just bit of a mistake on their part.
So, if you send it back how long will it take again?

Kilting selvedge was what we ordered, kilting selvedge is what should have been delivered. Have them take the time to fill our order properly.
(I am happy that I have a few kilts to sew before my XMarks, though.)

What a pain =( As someone who's already inept at sewing, having to put a hem in something would be even more of a frustration working with the material. You're perfectly right to be very upset! On the same note though, I appreciate greatly your hard work and dedication!

I hate to hear about this, primarily due to the extra trouble it could entail on your part, Steve.
I'm with all the others so far. We ordered a selvedge edge, and that should've been what was delivered. Though I'd like to see the material in my hands as soon as possible, I'd much prefer it be what was ordered, and I'm not in a particular hurry to get started on it anyway.
I hope they pull through easily enough, and make the next part as painless for you as possible.
