    Two Kilts today

Just recieved two kilts today in the mail I bought off the Sales board, two 44 SWK's, a Black Watch economy and a standard Saffron. Of course I had heart problems trying to decide which one to open first. I am surprised just how good both look. I knew the Economy fabric would not too heavy but it looks just great. The Saffron on the other hand is everything I expected in a traditional style kilt, (I own two Alpha Kilts and no traditionals). I was warned by members that SWK's run big and this is what I found. My belly is a stout 45" but both kilts buckle on the last hole and feels loose. The belt I wear on my Alpha's of course is to small for the kilts, so its back to Target for a larger one. Of course if I lose any weight these will be back on the sale rack hopefully after my cruise in May. Pics will follow, but I wanted first to say thank you for this board for how its members let others share their love for kilts.

Well done, MM! I have 2 Stillwaters that have been taken up by an inch, and IMHO they fit much better than if they were the next smaller size. Moving the buckle (on the right) is trickier than most kilts, because the tabs are sewn into the pleat seams. It's worth the effort, if you want a snugger fit.

The Saffron is one beautiful Kilt, of Course Black Watch isn't too shabby either. Congratulations.
