    Here's pics of what everyone is copying. 16 ounce Strome from Lochcarron Mills. The colors are accurate on my monitor - yours may vary.

    Bought it two years ago hand sewn by Kathy Lare for $511. Made a $200 down payment with balance on completion. With the exchange rate improving may be a bit less...or maybe you're not as fat as me and don't need as much cloth.

    I love this kilt.

    My opinion only - I believe in going top of the line with my favorite, most important, tartans. If Isle of Skye has meaning for you then save for the best. If you just like the tartan go with what works for you.

    Ron I too agree, that is a great looking kilt. I have move IOS to one of my top three wants. That being said:
