The Balmoral traditional 8 yard 16oz kilt
Thanks for the help guys. It looks like I'm going to go with the The Balmoral traditional 8 yard 16oz kilt in Douglas Gret from Marto, from Scotwed for like $380can. seems to be a good deal and I've got some good feedback from people from this site.

An excellent choice, a lovely grey-black tartan that should serve you well. I am a Douglas myself, and have the ancient tartan in a nice 8 yard 16 oz.
Welcome to the rabble, and the kilted world. Pictures and your review will need to be posted when it arrives.

Great choice.
The kilt I just got from them is a Balmoral Gordon Ancient in 13oz. They are very nice kilts and I know you'll love yours.
