Rolling Clothes Rack

On the other topics... I guess I need to do some feeling around on the ballpark price of having a box pleat kilt made minus the cost of fabric. *** Keep in mind that I am saving up money right now and this could take up to a year or more to have the full stack of kilt money. *** I guess the same for eight yard knife pleat kilts. I know one kilt maker's pricing, or at least I can look it up.


And finally, I ripped the Boch CD collection to my computer and it would not label the tracks from one of the CDs. I've been trying to look up the titles which has been a little tricky.

That being said, it is an all right collection from what I can tell.

Anyway I got the Bach collection streightened out and tracks properly titled. It took a while to hunt down all those pieces on YouTube, but I did get an idea of what was left out of the collection.

Well... Because I read all the posts and books and everything with a computer speach synthesizer, you have it's voice. I have it set to "Bobby" as the voice.

I actually can't think of a good way to describe the voice my mind gives you. I'm sure it's probably not at all like your real voice... No southern accent; more of a very, slight New Jersey accent. Or maybe with a hint of German-ness too...


I just can't seem to pin a lable on it.

I'm sure you don't look like the Gilmore in my head either.

The voice of Nanook in my head sounds very british and without much emotion except for a building rapidness in the longer posts.

There doesn't seem to be much I can do to change it either.

I was a little surprised when I first heard Barb T.'s voice. It wasn't at all what was in my head. However, The Wizard of BC sounded exactly like what I thought it would.

It's all very strange.

There are a few people I would kind of like to hear. Wouldn't you love to hear Jock Scot talk?

Interesting. In actuality, my voice is very deep--- a white Barry White, some one once said--- with a Southern accent, though not as thick as some, and often somewhat nasal, since I am prone to sinisitis.

You can hear Hamish's cheery voice on a video file posted somewhere on here, in which he demonstrates how to sit on pleats without wrinkling them.

Ya, I love those videos with the sound that get posted on the forum. I happen to be reading a book, "Did Lincoln Own Slaves? And Other Frequently Asked Questions," by Gerald J. Prokopowicz. In one part he talks about how we have the wrong voice of Lincoln in our minds as described by the people of Lincoln's time because Lincoln was givin a deeper voice and the wrong accent in the movies. I think Lincoln was described as having a fairly shrill pitch and a backwoodsy accent.

I did happen to have a dream last night in which the Nanook in my head appeared. He gave me a suitcase like box to put shoes in, but it had some kind of painting kit in it... Almost like a sett of water colors.

Well, I can report that the clothes rack I bought has done well for this week.

I'm rearanging several things in my little aluminum cottage. Almost everything is packed in plastic storrage boxes.

So, for the light weight loads, as Nanook says, it works well to move things around.
I also have a laundry rack that sets up like a table, and that is what I put a kilt on to dry, but it can hold folded clothesor shirts could be hung from it. I have no idea where the drying rack came from. My mother used it in Ireland, so... maybe look there.

And thank you to Nanook for posting the links to the heavy duty rolling racks; those really would be the best if it's in the budget.

Just how has anyone grown to adulthood without the acquisition of at least two industrial strength 8ft long wheeled clothes rails, plus a more dainty adjustable one for the lighter things?

Gees, Pleater! I said I was replacing the ones I had before. As far as an eight foot clothes rack.. I'm not sure that would fit in my little aluminum cottage.

I'm having to rearange everything just for this clothes rack...

And yes, I am male, so I thought of building the rack out of fence parts before I bought this one...
