    The tartan is much different that you can usually see around here. I like it very much.

    Many thanks to all for the feed back. In retrospect, while the waist is perfect, it does seem about a half inch too long. That would be a resutl of my measuring not the company's sewing. Comes to lower knee and, while I prefer my wool kilts a bit long, I really like them at mid knee. I may have to get it hemmed up a little - I have a local tailor who can do it.

    That's the Ulster tartan that's called "Ulster Peat", isn't it? What a great looking tartan! I knew that there was a reason it was on my short list. *grin*
