Great Kilt Conundrum

I've been noticing the frequency at which I see individuals dressed in their full great kilts has been occuring less and less often.

The only time I ever really see someone wearing a great kilt like this



is at a highland games, and "normally" the person looks nowhere near as good as Liam in Rob Roy. .

I think if you all remember the movie when he fights at the end he takes the plaid wrap from the top of his body. He is actually wearing a "small kilt with plaide. Not the great kilt.

In regard to the scene you refer you are correct. But, I think he wears both in the film, if I am not mistaken. We should verify the scene of the night before the raid at the tinker's camp on Ben Dubh.

I believe you are correct. I have a copy of the film and it looks like he wears a belted plaid in the earlier scenes.

I've worn my great kilt once and that was like 2 weeks ago. I don't know why but I felt manlier in the great kilt than my small kilt. Maybe its because its my clan tartan? I really felt like Braveheart or Rob Roy with it. But also I felt uncivilized which what I was going for. Don't take offense at that but what I mean is that a small kilt seems to be the normal kilt for a kiltie and the great kilt has become a reenacting, or games sort of cloting.

In other words to sum it up: I felt bad to the bone!
