Richmond, Va Irish Festival 21-22 MAR

Greetings, All!!
Central Virginia is beginning to gear up for the Church Hill Irish Festival! The projected weekend will be 21-22 March, in the Church Hill district of Richmond, Virginia. Parade on Sat. Morning, with live entertainnment and vendors both Sat and Sun!

Great time was had by all, in years past! It's a lot of fun, too! Kids play area, dance contests, pipers, live entertainment, lots of good food.....it's got it all!

This will be the 24th Annual celebration! Good slate of entertainment is scheduled, and, it's always lots of fun.... It is also VERY kid-freindly, with games, a play-area, and face-painting. Bring the whole family! Saturday 21MAR2009 10:00A.M.-7:00P.M. and Sunday 22MAR2009 10:00A.M. - 6:00P.M. Maps available from the home page, or google.
I'll be there Sunday afternoon. Saturday is a no-go for me, due to the fact that Friday night/Saturday morning, I'll be doing a Brunswick Stew with my Fraternal Orginization (gotta sleep sometimes....). I'll be the Buchanan Tartan, walking about with a fellow kilter in Gordan Tartan!!
