    Quick newbie question. What is the difference between tartan and tweed and what is estate plaid?

    Or is that two questions?

    If you care for the MacLaine of Lochbuie ancient sett (the seller calls it hunting), here is a link:

    I bought a kilt length (4 yards) and offered 5 pounds off the buy it now price and the seller accepted. It is very nice quality, probably Locharran mills. No proof of this though.
