Finally got a chance to get out -- on a day that feels more like mid-March than early February -- to get these shots:

... Or I'll just have to get that SWK in Weathered Mackenzie that I keep talking about!

As I mentioned previously, the weathered tartan in particular should go very nicely with this jacket.

Also came across these the other day and thought they should be a good match:

Not too expensive, either; I'll have to look into them....

I do have to get some proper garter ties, too.... The flashes in the pix above are admittedly a bit over the top....

I went to these folks during my search too - but they only have the smaller sizes. We were all small back then -

I tried to order a pair but the order page site bounces back to the display page and I can't get the order to pass.

I've been searching for that jacket for months. I need a 48 and there is a chap in Calif who claims to have them in a brown from Germany. I had the Marine Battle Jacket when I was in the Marines in 1956. I'm not sure I'd like that because of hte holes in the lapels used for the Globe & Anchor.

I just tried ordering a pair now -- the site does bounce back to the display page, but if you view your cart or checkout, the goods seem to be there. Unfortunately, however, it looks like this vendor is no longer able to ship to the US and Canada....
