I have just received my first real kilt in the Guthrie tartan, I have a moderately priced in the Leatherneck tartan. I want the USMC kilt pins to give as presents to the pipers in the Honor Detail I am in at the Riverside National Cemetary in Southern Calif. It is an all Marine detail, we fold the flag, do the rifle salute and have a color guard for each service.
I am a Vietnam Vet, work for the Post Office and tell myself I will practice on the chanter more. I would love to become a piper for the honor detail. Yes I did read some of the piper/Marine uniform posts.
I look forward to becoming active here.
