I don't think it looks any more like a cheerleader's skirt than our traditional tartan kilts look like Catholic school girls skirts. How quick we are to put down the innovation of our kiltmakers.

Jeff Morneweck (Pittsburgh Kilts) made a LOT of these two tone kilts for sports fans who wore them to games with their team jerseys. These men weren't ones you'd go up to and offer unsolicited that their two color kilt looked like a cheerleader's skirt.

    And check out Ham's gallery.

Jeff custom sewed my Arizona State Flag tri-color kilt. I outgrew it and it now has a fine home in the UK. I don't recall anyone coming up to me and saying it looked like a cheerleader's skirt. Maybe they thought that, but considered reserving their unsolicited opinion.

    For the Record

That's MY Steelers kilt. There's no elastic anywhere on it.
I don't care if you call it a cheerleaders skirt, Pittsburgh won.
For that matter it's made to the directions on Jeff's Pittsburgh Kilts page.
And I like it, that is all that matters.
