A member map
I think a map that members could post themselves on at their discretion would be a valuable tool for everyone. And maybe put a link to it over on the side where the member list is. May I suggest Frapper?
It would be especially useful for those of us trying to get together enough people for a kilt night who don't live in a big city where there are more than one kiltie.
I thought about starting one up myself and just posting the link to it on the general section, but I think it might be better to have a moderator as the map administrator.

I've had some problems with the map for a while. I joined the Frapper map thing, have an account, and added myself to the XMTS map. When I look at my profile, it shows I'm on the map, yet when I try to find myself on the map, I don't show up. Just curious if there's some sort of setting I'm missing somehow? For a short while, I did show up on the map. Now, the only place that shows that I'm there is on my account profile under "Maps I'm on".

Also, from the XMTS Forum Home page, on the left side under "Sites of Interest" it's there as a Kilt Map

Boy do I feel sheepish! I wasn't reading hard enough apparently.

I like the idea. I'm kind of like Jock, though, in the technodunce department.

I'm sorry that I didn't see the thread until the existence of the map had already been pointed out.
I started trying to investigate Cynthia's problem then started getting page load error messages on the frappr site myself.
I will try again later!

Well I did it, I added my pin. It was fairly innocuous.
