Hello, and a warm Celtic from the Hub of New England, Boston, Massachusetts. I hope this doesn't make you too homesick, but for two days we have had 65 degree temps (F). Then it is scheduled to get back to the normal single digit numbers by Monday. And of course a wee bit more snow. There are plenty of opportunities to meet fellow kilted men, just look for kilt nights in your part of the Left Coast.

I didn't read through all the responses, but if you look for the Caledonian Society of Sacramento, you will discover that the Woodland Highland Games are coming up in late April. there will be a rabble of Nor Cal folks at the Games, oftentimes hanging around the MacNaughton Clan tent.
com eon out and see the Games if you've never been to one before, and meet some other X Markers.
