Cooked steaks on the grill and potato skins for my wife. Opened a nice bottle of Copala Black Diamond Claret to have with supper. After it was into the kilt (my new knife pleated 6 yard Estate tweed from Rocky) and off to the Wine Sellers for a Samuel Smith's Pale Ale. After we went to our local Burns night which was late this year due to the fact that the gentleman who recites (mostly from memory) Burns for us was out of town until this week. Haggis, bagpiper, fiddle, nice lass doing a sword dance. The other kilted gent in town and I were asked by the host to come up with the Toast to the Lasses. Tim came up with a good one, and I gave it. All in all a very pleasant evening.
