I forgot to mention the guy from Dublin who asked me "What's with the Irish kilt?" I told him that I am of both Scots and Irish ancestry, and that the kilt is a Scottish garment, made from an Irish color, which shows both sides of my heritage. He told me that in Ireland, people who wear the kilt as something Irish are referred to as plastic paddy's, but people like me who don't try to be Irish by wearing the kilt are cool. He told me all about growing up in Dublin, and we had an interesting 15 minute conversation.
