That's a tall order. Have you tried phoning the supplier directly? Aside from that, I did a bit of research (being from Edmonton, essentially), and the best I could find out is this: the Edmonton tartan was designed by the Edmonton Rehabilitation Society for the Handicapped which doesn't seem to exist anymore. I was going to suggest contacting them...The tartan was designed back in the '60s and the last mention I found of the society was from the '70s.

Seeing that this is not possible, nor could I find an Edmonton-based distributor of the Edmonton tartan, I think your best bet would be to get something "woven to order" from someone. Matt Newsome could most likely help you out with that, as could scotweb.co.uk, but I don't know if either of them can do woven-to-order in anything other than wool (e.g. PV) seeing that you need it to be washable...

Sorry I couldn't be of any more help -- there is precious little info about either the Alberta tartan or the Edmonton tartan -- most of it is simply just official gov't info about what the official tartans are... I don't know if anyone actually wears them.
