Thank you,
I personally like the look of black hose with a PC as in this picture taken at the Burns Supper in Dumfries in January 09

Version 2
I got some great suggestions from several members and I gave them a try tonight.
Here are front, side, and rear views of the Jacket.

Changes included fastening the top two buttons with a simple loop and putting the jabot over the top to show more. I like this better, and I can't tell you how fine the lacework is that Lady Chrystel put into the jabot.
Second, I put on my Black Stewart Kilt. This is an acrylic version from Stillwater Kilt, and it is my around the house kilt. The pleats have not been pressed for awhile, but I really like the tartan. May have to get one in PV.
Finally, put on black hose with red flashes. I'm really going to have to get some diced hose sometime, but to me the black just goes well with a formal look. It really makes a red kilt, like my Hay tartan, stand out.
I show the side and rear views so others can see how this jacket looks overall. (the white squiggle on the rear view on the shoulder is just a lighting ghost, not on the jacket itself).
The vest is cut straight across at the waist, not pointed, and gives a nice line at the waist and over the sporran.
I'm really lucky it fits so well across the shoulders and the sleeve length.
I believe it will be an very nice outfit to wear to future Burns' suppers.
Thanks to all for your remarks and suggestions.

It looks great with the changes, I know what you mean about the lace work of Lady Chrystel I love my jabot and cuffs. I'm sure it will see you through many Burns Nights etc.
