Sydnie ---oh no - no cotton pleat will survive through a machine wash. "Refresh" is right. I only meant to have this knife-pleated denim kilt dry-cleaned. I didn't want it to shrink over time. The guy who's getting the revK kilt said that he'll only have it dry-cleaned. So he's good to go.

Otherwise, stitching the pleat edges through to the hem is the way to keep the pleats.

I remember somebody here asking about non-leather material as kilt straps and I replied with either the same fabric as the kilt or webbing+Dring. So here you go.
