Thanks all.
First time I read that, I thought you meant hysterically. Some threads do seem to bounce between the two....

I like to think it's the combination of laughs and learning that keeps me coming back to Xmarks, and not just checking the "for sale" listings to see if anything is in my size....

I'm looking forward to the holiday. I'll be busy attending several functions. There is a concert in Westminster Fri/Saturday evening and a Soccer match (Washington Freedom) on Saturday afternoon. DC has their St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday at 12. Tuesday Coyote Run is playing at O'Lordan's in Westminster.
Wednesday is a day of rest!
I'll be wearing my Ireland's National kilt!

Here's what I will be spending the day in, hopefully for years to come.

I posted this in a thread of it's own.. but figured it also fit in here.

I'll celebrate as I always have...my Irish heritage kilt, white oxford, beads, claddagh wedding ring, and as much revelry as possible. I'll always be mostly Irish with a wee bit of Scottish blood, but it's a day of fun I won't tell others how to celebrate and want the same for myself.

As I mentioned in another thread, on last Saturday's St. Patrick's "Parade Day" I didn't wear a kilt out of a petulant desire to avoid the attention the kilt invariably draws. But, that's not to say I didn't get into the spirit of the occasion! The wife and I went for the "1920's Irish gangster" look, heavy on the tweedy wools:

But, I'll definitely be kilted on actual St. Paddy's in my Forde (Irish family) tartan tank (see earlier posted pic)....

Hee! That was the idea! That overcoat is an authentic hand-woven Harris Tweed, picked up in the thrift store for under 10 bucks. Can't imagine what it cost new...!
