While this didn't happen to me, I was an eyewitness. At one of the reenactments I participate in, we usually have impromptu Highland Games in the afternoon following the battle. The host group for the event usually provides some of the "toys" for the games, such as a caber and a weight or hammer to throw. Other events are provided for using materials on site. Several years back the sheaf toss was set up by laying the caber down, placing the competitor on one side, facing away, with a bale of straw in front of him. The object was to reach down, grab the bale and toss it backwards over your head for distance. We were all warned to be careful of the straw snagging the front of the kilt. One young lad did a bit more than that. When he took hold of the bale, he managed to grab the bottom edge of his kilt as well. When he went to launch the bale skyward, he quickly ran out of slack in the kilt. The sudden stop caused him to fall over on his back, holding the front of the kilt up about mid chest (of course, he was regimental). Needless to say, great hilarity ensued.
All skill and effort is to no avail when an angel pees down your drones.
