Ya, the thinner and perhaps the looser knit hose tend to work better. We have a dry heat folowed by a wet heat out here. I've found that the issue tends to be in the foot area, and have read of thin cotton, sock liners being suggested.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
