A fun day trip on Saturday could be the aerial tramway (see info here). It's been years since my last trip, but unless things have changed drastically I cannot recommend the food at the top! The trip itself is great fun, unless you have an issue with heights.
And we now have our hotel (ok, crummy motel) reservations too!
