I think it looks terrific! And although I know you aren't too keen on sporrans, I think it will look even better with the sporran you're contemplating.

Aye Robert...I hiked that kilt way up, but running from the tripod to the door it worked its way down...the old beer belly slide. Guess I need suspenders/braces under the jacket eh?

The Prince Charlie looks great as does the waistcoat. The picture does look like you got to the position just as the shutter tripped. Maybe a longer delay? Would give you time to get the kit in order. For you sizes, the kit looks very dapper, and with the right sporran, it will be dashing.
