I got the nickname Falcon as a child after doing a science report on raptors and falling in love with the idea of falconry. It's funny but it's followed me all my life ie: my 1st car was a 62 Ford Falcon, my hunting bow is a Falcon Flame etc etc.
When I 1st got online I used my natural nickname only to find out there are a gazillion people nicknamed Falcon but I've stuck with it since all of my online friends know me 1st and foremost by it.

Actually i find i get corrected no matter how i post the explanation. Since most people recognize the way in which i've spelled it (and the Marine Corps over the century, to that extension), it's easier just to point out it's poor german and leave it.

MrMayhem...when I game online I've used mayhem since day one almost 1o years now, that and once an ex GF once told me when I asked her to marry me that "life with you would be mayhem and madness" so I figure why not... I mean I could of gone with a nickname based on my last name, but seeing as how this is a family based forum I refrained from it...although its a lot more funnier than mayhem...lol...my last name you ask?...Arreola...lol...

I am very proud of my name, David E. Gregory, and would even spell out the Eugene if it didnae make the name so long. However, I really got tired of trying to find emails and usernames based on my name. So the project was to find something that I could use on multiple forums and uses and not have to remember numerous usernames. So I figured the letter sequence ixoye, which is something of an english trans-scriberation (like my new word :-D ) of the greek letters often seen in fish symbols (iota, chi, theta, lambda, and sigma). These stand for "Jesus Christ, God, Lord, Savior". Then I added my initials DEG. So then, I both declare my affiliation and have found a username that, to this point, is unique.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
    2 Corinthians 13:14

I use JolyStNicholas because thats the charactor I choose to portray
year round. Being Santa only at Christmas is OK for some but being SANTA
all year long is the greatest feeling anyone can share.

More folks call me JOLY than my real name. It fits me to a "T". I keep the looks and everyone I know likes it,"even wifie".

    Joly

My real name is Michael Cochran. I use wyldathart because it sums up who I am. I don't care who knows my name but I wanted to use something that gave folks insight to who I am. I was raised on a cattle ranch and often was alone from a young age on horse back. at 19 I enlisted in the Navy much to my families dismay. After the Navy I took to hiking and mountaineering, most of the time alone. I was a tower climber for six or seven years, living on the road with some of the best men I'll ever know. Now I have a wife and kids and I whitewater kayak when I can and escape into the mountains when I have time.
Even though I have responsibilities I'm still a wild soul wishing for the high lonesome places. Hence "wyld at Hart"
