Thanks Glen --- I was high-fashionably late indeed! BUT - I knew I was going to be late and told them many many times (here, on the evite and on the phone)... LOL. But luckily I still got to taste a couple.

AND I made a connection too -- the local St. Andrew's society needs someone to adjust their kilts because apparently their color guard and piper guys are LOSING weight! I can help with that! The society's drum major - as soon as he learned that I made my own kilt lit up and asked for my contact info. Now -- would they be interested in teaching this guy to learn how to play the bagpipe - I'd be happy to trade services...
