Witnessing a wedding

I was asked by a friend to witness at her nuptial ceremony. As the groom is from Bangladesh, they would have an South Asian themed wedding. However as she has been my biggest fan and supporter of my adopting the kilt, I got a special concession

The ceremony took place at a hilltop park one evening. Guests came in their resplendant Indian-style clothing, except yours truly.

It looks like a grand time was had by all concerned. Singer's has changed dramatically over the years; I was stationed there in the early 70's (nee soon district (sp)).
