Camp Verde, Arizona Highland Games 3/28

Anyone going this Saturday? Small, but fun. Thought they were moving to Sedona, but I guess not. All the info I can find says its still in Camp Verde.

    Headed down early Saturday morning.

Thanks for the reminder, Ron! That's the only Highland Games in Arizona I haven't made it to, yet. I may have to change that situation this weekend...

If its the same place as a couple years ago its at a funky old school....at least it shouldn't be too difficult to find each other in a smaller venue.

Right now I'm planning on wearing my Cameron Black and Red kilt....or maybe the Antarctic....

Weather guessers say it should be good weather snuck in between two storm systems. Hope so.

    Hey Ron and Retro

Marsha and I are planning to be there She just got a lovely Burns check dress from Cathy L so she'll be wearing that. I'll wear my MacIntosh hunting. I was just in Camp Verde to watch the Vernal Equinox appear on the V-V petroglyph. Weather was perfect to welcome Spring--hope we get the same this weekend.

Wife, boy and I went last year but since have moved back east so will not attend this year---too long a commute. IT is a fun little games---I especially liked the sheep dog herding competition/demonstrations. Unfortunatley not a lot of vendors of either highland gear or food last year. Opening parade was nice.
