Okay, this resurrection must be a record - this thread is over five years old! I'll agree the topic will never go away, though!

At Shamrockfest a few weeks ago, my friends (two girls and a guy) and I were walking out, me a few paces ahead of them for whatever reason, and I became acutely aware of a presence.

You see, a cute presence (smelling strongly of Bud Light) had walked up and for about five seconds had been holding up the back of my kilt about a foot above my waist. I was kind of stunned and just kept walking, as the two girls I was with loudly started saying how inappropriate the random girl was.

Unfortunately for the random girl, it was really cold that day (and the coin had come up tails that morning) so all she saw were my long shanks and some boxer briefs.

I have a few kilted stories that I could share as well, but I think my favorite is the young woman that lay down on the sidewalk in Colorado as I was waiting to enter the country club, once horizontal with an upturned head she proclaimed to everyone, “It’s TRUE!”

This year in Aggiville Manhattan KS.

I was waiting in line for the head at an outdoor festival a while back and had two fairly inebriated twentysomethings behind me in line. I'm sure most of you know the phenomenon where the volume of one's voice is diametrically opposed to the amount of suds one has consumed. Well, it held true here, and even though the ladies thought they were whispering, they most certainly were not. I'm not even sure it'd pass for a stage whisper. In any event, they were debating amongst themselves the status of my undergarments when I decided to preempt any drastic action on their part. Turned around, smiled and just said "nope" and turned back around. They just about lost it. I think a combination of learning the answer and finding out that they were not being nearly as stealthy as they thought.

I've had women at work ask the same question, but it being work, I usually just smile.
