"Do you do anything?"
No, I'm independently wealthy.

At the Irish stew cook-off in February, I was of course kilted. It was still early and the crowds hadn't formed, so I was leaning agianst something enjoying my beer, when a lovely lady came up to me. I said hello, but she said nothing and barely looked at me. As soon as she got to my side, she turned to her left when he husband snapped a quick photo of us together. As soon as the pic was taken they walked away. She didn't even ask me for a picture or say thank you. Rude people.

Ans: "Why no, do you play the tuba?"
quote from James MacMillan
Wallace Catanach, Kiltmaker
A day without killting is like a day without sunshine.

The streams out here are best fished near shore where the water is knee high at most. I'll hike up my kilt a tad ( most of my kilts are 22" long) slip on some thin poly-pro socks, my neoprene booties, and finally my wading boots. If you don't wade too far out the water's not deep (though I've taken a couple of spills) and even though the water is cold the sun warms and dries you pretty quick. There is a method to my madness. I'll try to get some pix over the summer and post them.

Sounds great, Nutty.
We have some holy water in our area as well, but a lot of it is pretty brushy near the bank. Gotta get out farther in the stream.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Do you do anything? Well, I am extremely busy hunting(with horse and hounds), shooting, fishing, talking to pretty ladies. Why, what else is a chap supposed to do?

Yesterday as I was leaving the Irish bar a very attractive and sweet smelling young woman said, “Look it’s a man in a kilt,” she then came at me with open arms for a hug, as well as her other two friends. They invited me in for a shot of what was said to be liquid love, but to my disbelief I kindly rejected their offer and went my way. I knew that I should have asked for a picture, I am kicking myself now.
