ok...nawth cackylacky'ns, kilt night soon?
There seems to be a boat load of kilted locals round here, so how bout it?
I must admit, I do have a wedding coming up (April 18) so right now my time has been pressed agreeing to all of my fiance's decisions.
Therefore, I can't commit to planning a triad area kilt night (at least this time around) but I'm sure I can find the time to attend!
At the least, we should be able to get a good feel for how many interested kilties are near-by.
I'm in Southern Greensboro (Jamestown) 3 minutes from I-85, 5 minutes from I-40. 10 minutes from downtown GSO.
Let's here from you all.... let's see whose interested and let us all know what your vacinity is as well.
Regards,
Chris

I'm in. I live about 10 minute's drive north of Chris, near the airport. I'm around 5 minutes from I-40. Pick a time and place and I'll do my best to be there.

What about Tartan Day? Are we going to do anything for this? I'm in Greensboro, but I can drive to Raleigh or Charlotte if there's going to be a good enough group of kilties.

Hey All,
Trying to get a small group of kilties together on Tartan Celebration Day Monday, April 6th to have a few beers somewhere here in town (greensboro).
There's a couple pubs off the top of my head... There's Natty Green's downtown on Elm that's not bad... and they brew their own. Then I've heard of folks going to Cooper's Ale House, though I can't recall if I've ever been there. Worse case, there's always my local pub here in Adam's Farm area called McPherson's. Not a lot may be happening there on a Monday night, but what the hell, right?
As for making a trip to Raleigh or the outlying areas, I'm up for it, just not next week.
Give me a shout or PM me.
Davis.
