And since, according Wikipedia, Eccentricity is often associated with genius, giftedness, or creativity, I'd say that we have nothing to hide and everything to be proud.
Let's hear it for not being normal !!!
I won't be Eccentric until I win the lottery or retire......
Right not I'm a certified nut case .... and proud of it.

LOL a nutcase, me? I like to think of it as dancing to the beat of my own drum, which is occassionally a little off tempo at times...LOL

You never know who you'll encounter along the way. Coming out of a store this weekend, I passed a Q-tip on the way in. She was eyeing me up and down. I thought I'd get some sort of scowl, but instead she called out to me, "I like your outfit!" I was happy for the compliment, and felt bad for misjudging her at the same time.
What on Earth is a Q-tip?

Ron,
I've been kilted every day for the past two weeks, to work, errands, going out to supper with my wife, anytime I left the house. It's a great feeling so, nutcase... yep, if that's what you want to call me, go right ahead, guilty as charged... Wooo Hooo!!

Cameron Trading Post is a tour bus stop so the place is usually full of folks from all around the World. As I'm leaving a guy coming in sees me and says, "MacGreagor Clan?" in a most friendly way. I responded, "U.S. Army" and he sort of looked again, nodded, and we moved on.
But the point is the encounter with a stranger was entirely positive.
On the way down I'd stopped at the same place and as I was walking in one of the busses was offloading and an extremely attractive blonde lady in her 30s gave me a big smile and said, "I love your outfit!" Before I could respond two tall guys flanked her and led her away as they looked back at me...like maybe I was a nut case for being kilted....but hey, she knew....

Ron,
You look sharp in that. I'm not sure how anyone could mistake that tartan for MacGregor, but at least he knew it was a kilt

My mom is sort of a Q-tip, though the older she gets the less tightly wound she is.
