    Here's my usual method. Make a right-angle fold.


    Wrap once

    Wrap a second time, tuck upward underneath the previous 2 layers. This makes a second right-angle fold.

    Let it hang down.


    fold the cuff


    Adjust seasoning.


    For comparison, the classical clove hitch.
