Question about the question?

Okay, I've used the search function and not found much help. Forgive me if this is rude to ask, as I am new here.

I am just going to assume that the question is "what are you wearing under your kilt?" or some variation.

My question, in regard to "the question" is this? What does one wear under ones kilt? What is the tradition, is it a myth? Keep in mind, total newbie and not meaning to offend anyone here. I checked to see if there was a sticky, but I haven't seen one on here.

"Boots and socks!" Seriously, whatever you want. "tradition" is "regimental" I suppose, but all depends on what you are comfortable with and what the situation is. Plenty of folks wear underwear all the time, and there is NOTHING wrong with that. Still better than pants! Others prefer to skip that and let the air circulate freely. windy day or lots of kids around? i'll usually put on some boxers. No right answer here.
