Has anyone thought of a meet up spot at the games? I've never been to the Savannah games so I don't really know the setup or layout. Is anyone going to be wearing an X Marks tartan? I know I could find you then.

I ran into one of the Savannah Games' organizers tonight. He's a piper who's married to a woman who is a regular volunteer usher at my theater... small world. He reminded me that there's a "Genealogical Tent" on clan row. That might make a good central meet-up spot.
I'll post a photo of myself and others could do the same if they want... help us recognize each other.

We'll see you this weekend. There were quite a few folks at the Savannah Molly's including a piper who favored us all with a tune or two, although I couldn't stick around for long.

KFCarter, Tartan Day 2009
My first attempt to post a picture. I did my entire workday kilted as pictured, including a Rotary meeting, a regular administrative stint at the desk followed by managing the "front of house" for a show in the theatre... a typical thirteen hour day in all, with an hour off to go down to Molly's for a pint and a toast to Tartan Day. Couldn't have been more comfortable.
At any rate, I'll be in this kilt at the games:

Here is a pic of me, I'm on the Left, and my one and only kilt...Unfortunetly I'll have to wear it during the games this wear until I get a sportkilt or something and also be in cleats instead.

Its Irish County Sligo coat of arms, ya I though it was pretty sharp too. It is really close to the Maryland State Police tartan which my father in law is retired from...
