Wish me luck
Well, things have been tough in the stained glass business this past year. People consider stained glass and custom lighting to be a luxury item and that is naturally what they cut out of their budget in tough times.
So I decided to go out in search of a job to keep me going since I've only got enough work to keep my employed part-time in my stained glass business. I'm going in for a final face-to-face interview tomorrow for a great position that pays far more than I ever thought I could command.
Now, I've been wearing kilts and only kilts for so long now that not only have I not bought any pants in year nor worn pants in years, but in going through that huge box that I keep saying I'm going to drop off at Good Will, I discovered that also can't fit into any of my old pants either.
I had originally thought of going back to pants for the interview, but since I can't fit into any that I already own, I spoke about it with my partner. Nope is such a dream. Not only has he always supported me in my choice to be kilted, he told me to go to the interview in a kilt. I look great in kilts and if they couldn't handle me wearing a kilt then I should be working there in the first place.
I'm such a lucky guy to get that kind of support. But keep me in your prayers tonight and tomorrow. I'm going to go dressed in my favorite kilt and daywear tweed jacket. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Here's wishing you the best of luck. I have a feeling that many of your kilted brethren will be with you in spirit, so how can you go wrong?

Glassman, when I saw you at the Home Show in Northern Virginia, I was struck by your fine, professional looking turn-out. If they can't see it as well, they don't deserve you!
Good Luck.

I agree
I figure if they look down on you for wearing the kilt, then could they pay you enough to work in a close minded place that you dread every day?
I know times are hard, Me and my wife are feeling it too, she works for AIG! I wish you the best of luck!
