Is anyone from here attending?

Ahhhh...I wish! My wife and I drove down there in 2007 to attend the games with a few other Xmarks rabble-rousers. A great time was had by all! Sure wish we could afford to make a return visit.

I've met a lady from Mesquite...depending on schedules may be able to make a run down and back from Mesquite on Sat or Sunday....still up in the air though...never been to the Las Vegas games...
My main reason is to SHOP!! How's the supply of vendors?

Thanks, but it's not the hotels that is the problem. It's the overall cost of a trip like that. I've been unemployed since the beginning of January and I've just started up my own business. Money is incredibly tight right now.

Looking to maybe make it down...time and distance remain the main hurdles...vendors, Nine Irish Gentlemen, and a fresh ground buffalo burger are the main lures...

No Joy. Just paid the bills and also had to renew a national certification for work and I'm tapped out. Just don't have the funds this paycheck. Woulda been on the road most of the weekend to get there and back. Dang. Maybe next year.

I post some pics tonight when I get home. I think I did quite well. 4th overall Men's "C". My buddy tied for 2nd. The judges kept asking if we had done it before. Then they asked if we had track and field experience, which we did ;) !
