I have jsut six more days until my lovely bride-to-be marries me in my kilt.
Father in law used this as an opportunity to fall down the rabbit hole, so-to-speak. He's bought more accessories than some vendors carry!
I guess he wanted to get it now before my M.I.L. puts a stop to it!
I think he might be more excited to be kilted up in his Farquharson Old Colours as I am in my Davidson Old Colours.
My father is kind of dissapointed that we're not wearing the PC's to the rehearsal dinner... you'll all soon to see some nice pics of some sharp dressed gentlemen!
Not to rub lethearen's nose in it, but I'm really lucky to have a woman that actually enjoys seeing me kilted and encourages me to wear it on occasions that I just don't think about it.
I got to say though mate, don't rock the boat... I don't think it's a matter of compromise so much as a matter of respect. Even though I'm playing a very large role in our wedding plans, it's ultimately her big day, and I know far too well that I'd much rather make her happy in pants than to spend my honeymoon cuddling my kilt! (sorry, best analogy I could come up with on the fly!)
Good luck to you.
Davis
