WELCOME From just up I-5 ( Kent WA.)
Although I am an OLD SKINNY "TRADITIONALIST", I can recommend these people. They make some of the most interesting "looks" I have seen

The Barry - you are absolutely right, Fife in Scotland, thanks! I don't drive and my sense of direction is pretty dire but I was pretty certain I-5 is not a road anywhere near me!
Puffer - Thanks for the link, those kilts are pretty cool! My boyfriend is hanging over my shoulder and just went wow at the pic on the front page with the electric blue inserts - good reactions already, can only get better!
Everyone else - hi, thanks and yes luck will be needed, did I mention I've never sewn anything before and I will probably end up doing this by hand? (I picked up an old sewing machine a couple of weeks ago but have decided I don't trust it...or rather don't trust MYSELF with it!)
Now back to trying to re-read the X-kilt instructions and re-measure my friend...
