I would think it is a way to make old kilted people thinking there is a new "quality" store on the net.
The other reason is that people would compare the products with other companys. Without knowing they are the same company. They will then get the idea that it is not a bad price for a quality garment that sells at so many shops. If lots of stores have the same type of garment, often that is well tested and good quality.

There's a furniture store here in Tapioca that's been going out of business for about 30 years now. You see the commercials on TV about every 2 or 3 years. Then they paint the building and say, "Under new ownership," and run grand reopening commercials.
It's the circle of life.

So, being completely ignorant about this issue, would someone be amenable to posting up some links to previous XMTS threads that a noobie could read in hopes of getting edumacated about these Gold Bros people? It certainly seems there are some strong opinions and it would be good to know some background.
Would be appreciated...

Try putting "gold bros" in search on this forum.
There is very strong opinions about the issue, and it has been brought up numerous times, here and on other forums.

To digress, Phogfan. Love the Seinfeld signature line.

HOS is part of the Gold Bros empire. For an example of their chicanery, see the PM I sent you. Too shocking for public posting.

Thanks. And it just seems a natural reference for a kilt board, doesn't it?
