If any of you have ever tried to find an artificial Dandelion you will know that they are much harder to find than you would at first think.

I was able to find one place however that did a silk version that looked pretty good. The problem was the cost. As the company is in the UK there would be shipping and possibly duty and taxes to import their product. All this on top of what was a cost of almost $8.50usd per flower.

But I contacted them anyway. I asked if they would be able and willing to do a custom order for the forum. I asked for a small arrangement of two flowers and three leaves. I asked for the size to be about 4"-5". And I asked them for a price quote to include shipping to me here in Canada.

Here is a the Photo they sent.

    If we were to handle these like we have in the past for X Marks Tartan fabric, Clan Crest Badges, and the other stuff the cost for each Dandelion arrangement would be;

$15.86cdn or $12.95usd just as you see in the photo.

This price would include shipping world-wide and the PayPal fees.

So, what say you? I would need to place an order for at least 50 arrangements so would need to have confirmed and paid for orders from the membership just as we have done in the past.

Please add to this thread your thoughts and comments so we can decide if this is something the membership would like to see happen.
I'll take two! Send me a note where to send the $$

    Steve,

I think if you are going to do this then you should collect all the money you need for the order first, and then place the order.

You have carried the burden for those that didn't come through too many times before .

    Cheers

Man, if you'd-a had that info one day earlier, I'd have paid you for it while I was standin' in front of you.

Go for it, Brother. I'll take one.

Harrumph now I need to buy a bonnet. I have military berets but none of them have the stiffener to support a unit pin.

I don't wear the sort of bonnet that I'd attach that to, but would it be in poor form to pin one to one's lapel?

    Regards,
    Rex.

They look great, well done. I'll have one, and am quite happy to pay in advance.
