I really would prefer one like I described, I see little reason for the tails on the Prince Charlie. Perhaps someone will enlighten me.

Ya, mess jackets and eton jackets work with kilts, and some people but all the buttons on them like a PC. Perhaps one day I will order one of those low cost eton jackets to get a good look at the structure of the jackets. It's hard to remember exact details...
