Its good these chapters in History are there to remind us of the past. We cannot change it, but because of it, we have in some ways grown better for it.
Indeed -- the story of our ancestors may serve as inspiration to those of us in the present. As Edmund Burke said:
People will not look forward to posterity, who never look backward to their ancestors.
