Yes, it makes me feel great. The other day I was upset at my wife, things weren't going right, and I was determined to not be happy for a few days. I didn't even want to talk to anyone and if they talked to me, I just answered very quietly, which I am not. But that night we were planning on going out and I usually wear a kilt if we go to a play, concert, etc. So I put on a kilt, and when I came down stairs, I wasn't upset any more, I talked as I usually do, and had a great time. That's when I said to my self, "I am happy and it is more fun!"

I am absolutely having fun wearing my kilt. If I didn't have fun, if it didn't feel grand, I wouldn't bother. I also wouldn't be spending all this fun time reading posts on a pants forum.

You pose some interesting questions/situations. The first Highland Games I went to was a small affair up Aspen way and I said Wow! There are others like me. Then last year I went to the Long's Peak Celtic Gathering in Estes Park, saw thousands in kilts and went WOW! There ARE others like me. Thinking about wearing one of my kilts rafting toward the end of May on the Roaring Fork and the Colorado.

    Yah, baby!!

The more new things I do kilted the more I enjoy being kilted and doing those things. Will keep pressing the envelope with new and more activities (for me, anyway).

    More and more each day.

    Hey Nulty,

River rafting is one of the most fun things to do kilted! You're gonna love it!

As I have worn the kilt for nearly 70 years I am not sure, can't remember perhaps, that I ever wore the kilt for fun. I have had fun whilst wearing the kilt that is for sure, but I can't honestly say that I have had fun because I wear the kilt. There are times when I don't wear the kilt because I am sick sorry and tired of going to a place, for whatever reason, and being pestered by visitors wanting a photograph! That is very tiresome indeed--------sometimes.
