made a new ( bigger) sporran

I found that the sporran that I bought, through this forum, just wasn't big enough, so it has been on my "to-do" list, for some time now, to make one, that's bigger, so I can actually carry most of my 'stuff'.I had some deerskin, that I bought for it, and some thicker leather, from older projects, so, the other day, I finally got to it. I cut out a ten and a half inch circle, sewed a small hem around the edge, punched hole ( for the drawstring), sewed on the "lid" with attached hanger loop, sewed on the fronts-piece, made up the drawstrings, with tassels, dyed the whole works & waterproofed it. It's actually big enough that I could probably carry 2 or 3 beers in it
I'm pleased with the way it turned out, (if not perfectly, at least usefully)
( this is my first attempt at posting with a picture, so I hope it works!)

Congratulations on the sporran. It sounds really nice.If you'll put after it, without any spaces inside, it should work. I've had the same trouble, and some folks showed me how to do it.

That's a great looking sporran. I especially like the tassels. Did you make them yourself, too?
